How to Add a Facebook Link to the Profile Gadget on Blogger

With the use of certain tools or "gadgets" that
come standard with every Blogger blog, you
can promote your Facebook Page right from
the sidebar of your blog. Then when someone
clicks on your "Like Box," he'll be directed to
your Facebook Page. To do this, you'll need to
generate a simple code that is available from
the Facebook Developers page.

Instructions

Navigate to the "Facebook Like Box"
page at Developers.facebook.com/docs/
reference/plugins/like-box and type your
Facebook Page name into the "Facebook
Page URL" box, after the "http://
www.facebook.com" portion.

Click "Get Code."

Copy the Like Box code that appears in
the next window.

Log in to your Blogger account with
your username and password.

Click "Design" from the Blogger
Dashboard.

Click "Add a Gadget" from the Blogger
Edit Layout page.

Select "HTML/JavaScript" from the list
of gadgets that appear in the pop-up
window.

Paste the Facebook Like Box code into
the box that appears, then click "Save."
A new gadget will appear on your blog's
sidebar, with a "Like" box that links to
your Facebook Page.
